It seemed high time that I get some pictures of the "cottage", as it's called here in Dungarvan, Ireland--I would have called it a condo.
Front entrance |
Back of the "cottage" and patio |
The view from our bedroom window (in the back of the "cottage") of the Irish countryside was lovely |
While Joe and Jim were golfing, I went driving about (yes, on the left side of the road!--and with a stick shift!!) to take in some of the sights of Dungarvan....
The harbor and Dungarvan waterfront of the River Colligan--during low tide! Notice the boats in the mud! |
But late in the day, when Jim and I went into town for dinner, the tide was back in and the boats were all afloat |
The Lawlor's Hotel--reportedly one of the nicest places in Dungarvan to have dinner |
Gayle and Jim at dinner at Lawlor's--and it was lovely-- as advertised! |
After dinner, a stroll along the waterfront of this very quaint and picturesque sea town |
Because it is June and stays light until after 10:00 p.m., this sunset was taken from the back of the "cottage" well after 10:00 p.m. |
